About Dr. Kyle

Dr. Kyle Sansom was born and raised in Salt Lake City — so serving this community isn't just his work, it's personal. He attended the University of Utah for both his undergraduate studies and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating magna cum laude. During dental school, Dr. Kyle was elected class president for two years and was selected by faculty to help create study material for the national board dental examinations — an honor typically reserved for the most distinguished students.

After earning his DDS, Dr. Kyle commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. He served as chief resident and trained alongside dental specialists across every discipline — wisdom tooth surgery, IV sedation, dental implants, esthetic dentistry, and root canals. That training gave him a breadth of experience that most dentists spend a career building.

Dr. Kyle now brings that expertise to private practice, where he takes pride in offering the full range of dental care in a setting that feels unhurried and genuinely welcoming. He takes time with each patient — explaining what he sees, walking through options clearly, and making sure every visit feels comfortable. He continues to serve in the Utah Air National Guard.
